❖ 🪄 Sync variables and styles is now Export to Figma

In V2 there is a new user flow for Exporting Styles and Variables to Figma which will update values of styles and variables at the same time.

• Export to Figma also allows the creation of any new tokens at the same time as updating the values of existing tokens.

You'll notice the "sync variables" and "sync styles" menu options have been removed from the Styles & Variables navigation, and Export to Figma is present.

Where and how to use this feature

The Styles and Variables menu in the lower-left corner of the plugin

• Select Export to Figma

• Configure your export options

• Choose the themes or sets you wish export

  • Any changes since the last export will update

• Confirm by pressing the Export to Figma button

How it works under the hood

• variables or styles or both will be created updated depending on the selected checkboxes in the Styles and variables options screen

• 🚨 Be sure that your Export Options are correct before you run the export!!
