Currently, users lack an efficient way to identify all broken token references. They must manually check each token, which is time-consuming, especially in projects with multiple themes or a large number of tokens.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce a "References Validator" tool that allows users to scan for and identify all broken references across selected themes from a centralized location.
Accessing the Validator Tool:
I want to access a "References Validator" from the Inspect tab so that I can easily check for broken references across my tokens without manual effort.
Theme Selection for Validation:
I want to select which themes are included in the validation, so I can focus on specific token sets relevant to my current task or identify issues within particular themes.
I want active themes to be selected by default for validation, so I can quickly check the themes I am currently working with.
I want to be able to override the default and manually select specific themes for validation when I need to check non-active or a combination of themes.
• Triggering the Validation:
I want to click a "Validate" button to start the reference check, so that I can get an up-to-date list of all broken references on demand.
• Viewing and Navigating the Results:
I want to see a list of broken references after validation, so I can review all issues at a glance and understand the scope of the problem.
I want to click on any broken reference in the list to be taken directly to the problematic token for quick fixing, streamlining the correction process.
Exporting the Report:
I want to copy the broken references report, so I can share or log the issues with my team for further review, tracking, or assignment.
